SOIL collective is a group of four curating artists who are confronting their individual practices through an intense artistic dialogue. By doing so, they elaborate the idea of artistic and curatorial authorship and outstrip traditional codes of group exhibitions. ‘... a bit monotonous, but restful, (not) all the same’ (January 2015) was their debut exhibition; a three-day curatorial experiment in an intimate living room context. By dividing interventions and objects over two levels of display, conditioned behavioural patterns of artists, artworks and audiences were investigated. >
